Stephen Andrew Waller- DeLaRosa, LPC

Welcome! I’m Stephen “Andrew” Waller-De La Rosa, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing in-person psychotherapy in Georgetown and the Greater Austin area, with virtual therapy available for adults across Texas.

My work integrates thoughtful exploration with practical support to help clients move toward lives that feel more workable and meaningful.

Who I Help

  • Young adults & emerging adults
Independence, career decisions, relationships, and the growing demands of adult life.

  • ADHD & autistic adults
Time blindness, task initiation, planning, and emotional intensity that make life feel harder than it looks from the outside.

  • Late-identified or questioning neurodivergent adults
Making sense of your history, unlearning shame, and building systems that fit how you think.

  • Professionals, high-responsibility adults & high-maskers
Chronic overwhelm, burnout, and the invisible mental load of keeping work and home running.

  • Executive function & daily life challenges
Organizing, prioritizing, and following through, motivation management and goal-setting for daily life and personal growth.

  • Thoughtful, introspective adults
Looking for practical support with daily life alongside space to explore values, direction, and meaning.

My Therapeutic Approach

Therapy works best when it is grounded in safety, respect, and curiosity. My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and process-focused, meaning we work together at your pace, guided by your goals and experiences.

Rooted in depth psychology and existential frameworks, I help clients explore underlying patterns, meaning, and the ways past experiences shape the present. Alongside this, I use approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to offer more structure and practice around everyday challenges. Together, these lenses support both deeper understanding and practical change.

Professional Background

I hold a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University, with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Texas A&M University.

I have over six years of experience in mental health and education settings. I previously served as a Clinical Director and Social Coach at College Living Experience, supporting neurodivergent young adults in developing independent living and life skills, and as a Group Facilitator for a neurodivergent DBT group at Therapy Austin.
