Welcome

Hi, I’m Stephen “Andrew” Waller-De La Rosa, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing virtual psychotherapy for adults across Texas. My practice is grounded in trust, thoughtful inquiry, and a balanced belief in both insight and action as pathways to meaningful change.

Who I Help

  • Neurodivergence (ADHD & Autism): Strengthening executive functioning, communication, and self-understanding

  • Emerging Adulthood & Life Transitions: Supporting identity development, independence, and change

  • Executive Functioning Challenges: Building time, task, and organizational skills

  • Anxiety & Emotional Regulation: Developing sustainable coping strategies and resilience

  • Relationships & Social Communication: Improving connection, expression, and interpersonal effectiveness

  • Values, Identity & Meaning-Making: Exploring purpose, direction, and existential or spiritual themes

My Approach

I believe that healing and growth begin in a relationship built on safety, respect, and curiosity. My approach is person-centered, process-focused, and collaborative—tailored to your goals, pace, and ways of processing.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in depth psychology and existentialism, and I integrate cognitive-behavioral models—including DBT, ACT, and CBT—to offer a combination of insight-oriented and skills-focused therapy. This allows me to tailor the process to each client’s goals, pace, and needs.

Professional Background

I hold a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University, with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Texas A&M University.

I also served as a Group Facilitator for a Neurodivergent DBT Group at Therapy Austin.
